Denise grew up on a small ranch and farm in southern Colorado where her family ran a cow/calf operation and farmed alfalfa and grass hay. She is one of three girls who were taught strong family values and learned to work hard. She learned early on what it meant to be a good steward of the fragile land. Denise graduated with two associate degrees in the field of Civil Engineering Technology and holds a state real estate license and numerous insurance licenses.
She has worked as a land surveyor at an underground coal mine, sold ranch real-estate and insurance, and most recently has worked 14 years in Urban Planning and Land Use Development in southern Colorado. Denise is a past President of a local Livestock Association and Business Professional Women’s Organization. She enjoys competing on her cutting horse, Tuff, and spending time with her family and dog back home. Denise will be working in Colorado as part of the Silveus Rangeland Division. She is very excited to promote Pasture, Rangeland, Forage (PRF) Insurance while providing great customer service to every client.
