Who We Are

Tarah is a native of Colorado and a graduate of Colorado State University, where she studied Business and Tourism, earning her degree in 2010. After a decade in the hotel sales industry, she transitioned to marketing and operations. In June 2020, Tarah joined the AgRisk team, where she finds great joy in supporting the AgRisk Agents and leading a dedicated team of service members who take pride in their work. Her passions include creating efficiencies, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the company always does right by its customers.

Tarah currently resides in Parker, Colorado, with her husband and three kids, and she spends most of her spare time in Silverthorne, CO with family and friends.

Aaron’s upbringing on his family’s Oregon ranch instilled in him a profound understanding of the challenges of fellow ranchers and farmers. His unwavering passion for the agricultural way of life combined with his education in Finance, Business, and Risk Management, make Aaron a natural fit in the Crop Insurance industry. He approaches his customers with the same care and dedication he would offer his own family, curating risk management plans that safeguard a legacy for future generations.

Growing up on a cattle ranch in western Kansas, Tait Berlier always knew he someday wanted to join the family business of ranching, which has spanned four generations out West on ranches in five states. Nearing graduation at Kansas State University in 2002, Tait took stock of his options and decided against starting out fresh in the cattle business, which seemed too risky at the time.

Tait moved instead to Denver, CO to work as associate editor of the Western Livestock Journal. During his time at WLJ, Tait developed an extensive list of industry contacts which allowed him to gain insights on the cattle industry which he had not previously realized. At the same time, Tait began following the example set by his forebears and became active in cattlemen’s organizations and issues, a passion he continues today.

It was luck that Tait called Aaron Tattersall on the advice of a friend, as shortly after being introduced to the world of agriculture risk management, he was hooked. It was kismet, however, which brought Tait to AgRisk Advisors and the Silveus family. Tait’s own personal and family experiences reflect a deep-seated need for products and advice like he eventually found himself providing, the significance of which Tait won’t soon forget.

Tait advises clients from Louisiana to California, but he and his family call the Sheridan, WY area home.

Alex Anaya, Customer Relations Manager, recently joined the AgRisk Advisors team. Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, Alex is no stranger to the farm and ranch community. He raised horses and cattle with his family, acknowledging that the long days made him who he is today. He feels his granddad made the greatest impression on him, teaching him about the value of hard work and the importance of family.

Fun fact, Alex used to be a competitive bull rider but, after a few bad falls, realized he prefers working with people. A graduate of Colorado State University, Alex brings a positive attitude to everything he does and loves working with our customers.

Aaron Kravig joined the AgRisk Advisors team as an Agent in the summer of 2018. The Kravig family name is well-known in southeastern Colorado, as his family ancestors were some of the first to settle the area and founded the small town where he and his family still reside.

Aaron, now a fifth-generation rancher, along with his wife their four children, and his parents own and operate Kravig Red Angus where they raise and sell registered seedstock cattle. Prior to his time at Ag Risk Advisors he was the Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA advisor for 7 years at the local school and has served and still does serve on numerous agricultural industry boards both at both the state and national level.

Farmers and ranchers look to Bret for risk management advice because of the experience and knowledge in finding solutions tailored to their operation. From working with some of the biggest producers in Colorado, the top wheat growers in Kansas, ranchers just getting started in Oklahoma, to diverse operations in South Dakota, Bret has seen many aspects of American agriculture. Having grown up on a farm and ranch, Bret has experienced firsthand the many challenges producers face. These unique experiences have allowed Bret to offer different solutions when producers thought there was only one way. The exclusive software Bret utilizes enables him to take a closer look at the history of your operation and offer better solutions moving forward. Bret’s goal is to help farms and ranches improve profitability in the long term.

Payton Norell is a native of Delta, Colorado and grew up on his family’s ranch near Meeker, CO. Payton attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. At Tarleton State Payton received his bachelor’s degree in business and met his future wife Callene who rodeoed for nearby Weatherford College. Payton has since returned to Delta where he lives with Callene and baby daughter McKinley, and in his spare time enjoys team roping and spending time with family and friends.

Dalton is an experienced cattleman, native to Colorado, and graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Agricultural Science. Dalton comes from an extensive background in the fed cattle industry, ranging from feedyards in Colorado and South Dakota to Texas, where he understands the importance of hard work and integrity in such a volatile industry that provides the world. He plans to use his experience in the agriculture industry to help guide the all-important farm and ranch communities to success.
Dalton takes great pride in the lessons learned and time spent with his late grandfather, who was a former farmer & rancher in Illinois before residing in the state of Colorado, where he served as counsel to the National Water Commission specializing in mineral and water law.

Born and raised in Cedar City, UT, Jason works closely with his dad and brother operating an Angus seed stock operation in Southern Utah. He enjoys watching his daughter, nephews, and niece grow up on the same farm that he grew up on, learning all the same lessons that he learned on the farm. Knowing that ranching was going to be his hobby, Jason graduated from Southern Utah University with his Master’s in Accounting. Jason has made a career in the Agriculture Industry helping producers with their risk management strategies.

Kevin Schlabach joined the AgRisk Advisors team in 2022. He was an Agriculture Education teacher and FFA advisor for five years prior. He completed his Bachelors from Colorado State University in Animal Science and Agriculture Business and completed his masters in Agriculture Science. Kevin was born and raised in Durango, CO, and operates a small ranch where he raises cattle and works with horses. In addition, he enjoys hunting, camping with his wife and two boys, and skiing when he has free time.

Kahla Mills, from Gillette, Wyoming, has been involved in the cattle industry for 36 years, as she is a 5th generation rancher in Campbell County, Wyoming. Kahla graduated from Western Dakota Technical Institute with a diploma in Pharmacy Technician. After working in that industry for four years, she worked in the mining industry for a couple of years before eventually ending up back on the ranch. Kahla is the Regional 1 Vice President for the Wyoming Stock Growers Association(WSGA) and a member of the Wyoming Beef Council. She has been with the local, state, and national Cattlewomen since high school. Kahla served as President of the Wyoming Cattlewomen from 2017 to 2019 and is currently active in the American National CattleWomen. In addition, she participated in 4H and FFA and loves to educate about and promote the beef industry in any way she can.

Elena is a Livestock Specialist for AgRisk Advisors and is associated with the Western Region of Silveus Financial. She studied Ag Business and Economics at West Texas A&M University and Kansas State University, obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree. Elena began her career in the Livestock Risk Management industry, working for Amarillo Brokerage Company and Brookover Feed Yards, where she gained hands-on experience in the cattle markets. While at K-State, she was also a Fellow for the Center for Risk Management Education and Research and developed a broader view of Risk Management in the agricultural industry and beyond.

Elena enjoys traveling, photography, and finding the best coffee locally and on the road when she’s not working.

Andrew is originally from Rice Lake, Wisconsin and a graduate of University of Minnesota Duluth, with a degree in Organizational Management & Entrepreneurship. After graduating, he embarked on a backpacking tour across Europe. Andrew’s love for the outdoors is ultimately what brought him to Colorado where he can now spend all his free time skiing, backpacking & fly-fishing.

Born in Wichita, with family coming from multi-generational farmers and ranchers, Quinn grew up in Kansas playing in wheat and corn fields. While attending the University of Kansas, Quinn learned his passion of understanding markets and human behavior. He also volunteered on the weekends at a local ranch which was the largest wildlife rehabilitation center in the state. Some of the experiences he enjoyed most included nursing raccoons, training bald eagles, and performing physical therapy on owls. It is here that Quinn learned he has a passion for helping others.

Throughout his childhood, Quinn visited Colorado to ski and visit his extended family. After graduating, Quinn found himself residing here in Denver where he can explore the outdoors every weekend. One of Quinn’s many skills he learned from a high school mentor includes his diligence, critical thinking, and the thought that the only limits are the ones you set for yourself!

Kaitlin is a native of Colorado and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies. Kaitlin joined the team as a Junior Agent Support Representative. Kaitlin loves traveling, seeing new cities, and exploring the Colorado mountains.

Lindsey joined the AgRisk team in late 2022, after relocating to the Denver area from Salt Lake City, Utah. Originally from Redondo Beach, California, Lindsey traded the sunny beach for snowy mountains and is loving every second of it. When she is not working, you can find her playing video games or hanging out with family, friends, or her two dogs & two cats.

Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Ginger has called Colorado her home from 32 years. Graduating from CSU with a Bachelors in Spanish and Communications, Ginger has had a wide variety of jobs in the Denver Metro area over the years. The past 12 years she primarily stayed home with her 3 beautiful children and supports her husband who is in full-time ministry and Pastors a church in Centennial, CO.

She enjoys spending time with my kids and husband, volunteering in the community, going on long walks and being with friends and family as much as possible.

Justin Skinner was born and raised in the Detroit Metro Area and just moved to Denver in the spring of 2023. He has a large and loving family that is very important to him, and he visits them as often as he can.

His hobbies outside of work primarily include disc golf, rock climbing, and reading. He is also a fan of all kinds of games including sports, video games, cards, and board games.

Cierra began her role as a Jr. ASR with AgRisk during the summer of 2023. She is from Minnesota and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. When she’s not learning about crops at AgRisk, Cierra likes to explore the mountains and spend time with her cat.

Originally from Chino Hills, California, Carly has joined the AgRisk Advisors team as the Marketing Coordinator. Carly attended Lindenwood University where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Sport Management. During her time there, she also won the NCAA DII Women’s Lacrosse National Championship in 2021. On the weekends, Carly enjoys hiking, spending time with her dog, and traveling.

Ruth came on board with the AgRisk team in 2018. She is a native Coloradoan and has lived in Denver most of her life. Her passion in life is sailing the high seas and experiencing new cultures. She previously has worked in the office supply and phone book industry (what’s a phone book?). Ruth calls Parker, CO her home with her husband and she plans on never leaving!

Originally born in Mechanicville, New York, Hannah grew up in Colorado. She studied general business and worked in restaurant management for 7 years before joining the AgRisk team in February 2023.
If she is not working, she enjoys hiking, spending time with family, friends, church family, reading, babysitting and animal sitting. Her relationship with Jesus is the most important relationship in her life.

Aeric Reilly, who lives and works in Great Falls, Montana, has built his career on helping farmers and ranchers. His early work for a farming advocacy group fueled his desire to get involved in legislation and Ag policy. Working in Crop Insurance became a natural next step to continue serving the Ag community. He owns Reilly Insurance Agency and has been an integral part of the AgRisk Advisors team for several years, working specifically with cattle ranchers.

If he’s not working, you’ll find him hunting or fishing. He also finds enjoyment in building fences or calving with his family at his ranch in Stanford. The hope that his kids will get the chance to work on his ranch for the rest of their lives is what keeps him going.
